Recent studies, as well as longtime wisdom, has emphasized the importance of eating breakfast, and if you are an active healthy person you pretty much can, and should eat ANYTHING you want for breakfast, including things that most mis-informed people would regard as unhealthy; fact is, if you are ever going to eat things with fat (like the gobs of butter in this French Toast recipe) and certain sugars in them, the time to do it is early, as you have the entire day to assimilate and use the calories and fat. Furthermore, if you pop a shitload of vitamins, minerals and enzyme supplements at the start of each day, you need fat in your system to assimilate and absorb many of the fat-soluble vitamins and minerals.
That being said, try mixing a little cranberry with the orange (like a 2/3 orange, 1/3 cranberry mix)...also do what i always do with french toast and pancakes: Try a heaping portion of Blueberries in the mix, very tasty and healthy
