I am thrilled about the AVN nominations coming out. It is always a happy time for me when so many great people and movies and companies get the recognition they deserve. I didn’t get a chance to thoroughly study the list yet, (being as anal retentive as I am I will read and ponder every single entry). I am very excited about what I see so far. I am sure I will find a few things I don’t agree with, a few people I think are missing from the list, but hey, if AVN was perfect they would just ask me to write all the noms right? lol. Just kidding. What I can agree with totally and am the happiest about is the nomination of JM Production’s, Jeff Steward (I include his wife Sandy in here too, because she fought and suffered equally through this) for the Reuben Sturman award. This award goes to an X-rated freedom fighter and they could not have picked anyone more worthy then Jeff. He has fought the law ( and HE WON) several times over the last few years when they have come down on him for such bogus things as an “obscene†movie he put out that had a girl peeing in it. OMG, a girl peeing? That is so disgusting! Have you ever heard of anything more gross then that? That is so offensive. You don’t pee do you? You wouldn’t want any adult to be able to see someone pee if they wanted to, would you? What can be more awful then watching someone pee???? ( The war in Iraq? Our soldiers being killed? Bush being president? Rape? murder? Terrorism? Children living in poverty? People sleeping on the park benches? Dying of a curable disease? ) Peeing is way worse then all of that don’t you agree? (see “sarcasm†in Websters Dictionary) Any way, congrads to Jeff and Sandy for an award so well deserved and to AVN for picking the right people. There are a ton more noms, like hundreds.
