I don't agree with the sexual aspect of the abuse at all. That said, I have always found the term 'prolonged beatings' to be very amusing.

And I love the idea of a 'beating barrel'. I think that every patriarchal family should invest in one. I'm going to Home Depot this weekend to buy materials for own beating barrel to be used, respected, and passed on to future generations.
