That's a type of sashimi called Maguro (pronounced Ma-Ghu-Raw) and it's raw, finally cut tuna. She seems confused and somewhat elated by the jism running down it's side- perhaps surprised by it's yoghurt-like consistency in comparison to the tuna's tongue like texture.
