I can't bring myself to watch it anymore but it was a large part of my childhood and I still a fan and historian of that period of wrestling. I heard legend of that incident but the Aptermags never really covered it.

That clip is a very significant find. To see Flair, at that point in his career, be forced to job in order to save his hide. Sweet.

Reminds me of the time I attended a tv taping of Junkyard Dog and Roddy Piper when both were at the heights of their popularity/villainy. Piper (who once lived here in Hamilton) received a standing ovation while JYD was spit on by the fans. The match ended in a double dq very quickly, which I'm sure was not planned. Crackhead Dog probably just wanted to get the hell out of there before mob mentality set in.
