Burger King sucks. Those "wake up with the King" ads are creepy. If you were in LA, I would say go to In-N-Out or Fatburger. Go to Wendy's, the best of the large national burger chains.

They are also getting better movies to tie themselves with promotionally. Used to be that McDonalds would get the tie ins with Jurassic Park and Titanic while Burger King would get The Postman and Godzilla.

they are building some new restaurant around here called "the chipotle grill" and every time i drive by it and i think of chico. ninety-five percent of the non-fast food restaurants here are italian, which isn't surprising since the most popular boy baby names here are enzo and luigi. my son has four "vinnies" in his class this year.

I was visiting a friend in CO, and there was a Popeye's near his place. You could not step within 20 yards of the place without smelling a disgusting, rotting smell of old grease.
Do they all smell like that?

Hmmmm, there is a Jack In Her Box in many upscale Orange county enclaves....when I first moved to Newport Beach in 1992 there was one right off of PCH and the 55. There was also a Poop-eyes Chicken right up Harbor Blvd on the Costa Mesa/Newport line, I used to use their drumsticks and rub it all over my wheelchair's undercarriage to oil my axels and wheels when I ran out of WD-40. It closed shortly after I moved to the Bay Area and now there's a Del Taco there...

Del Taco kicks Taco Bell's ass in all respects. I wish they had them here in the Northeast...
Other than when I was a student in Boston, I never ate as well as when I lived in Newport. Too many places to list them all here, but there used to be a Red Onion Bar/Restaurant where the Hooters(TM) is now on Balboa...it closed in 1994, and it was NOT related to the chain of Red Onions so the food was much better...what I liked best was it had NO Accessible entrance for wheelchairs, so I had to either waddle up the steps while someone carried my wheelchair, or actually be lifted and carried up by four guys, like I was the pope. After two or three visits with sizable tabs, the manager left instructions for the bouncers to carry me up instead of my ex-college roomies. Right next door (Balboa Surf and Turf Club) is the place where Dennis Rodman used to party and beat the shit out of a bartender ....
Down by the marina on PCH is a Landry's/Joes Crab Shack which is much better than most of the outlets in other cities. And if you can stand the paper plates and red checkerboard table cloths, the Crab Cooker offers awesome, healthy seafood at very low prices. Blackie's pub ("sorry, we are OPEN") has awesome buffalo wings....

Fuck Taco Bell. Del Taco is a fave on my secret junk food list after In/Out Burger, and the buffalo wings at Blackie's are amazing. I take the skin off the wings when I eat them because I hate the slimey texture of fat.

look im a borderline alcoholic and I wont even eat burger king, jack in the box with the sourdough jack and their other assorted crap is great, but how are you nips sleeping on wendys and their baked potato, the thing is majestic, also anyone whos into taco bell deserves to die.

do i have to wear blackface to eat fried chicken in safety? you people make it sound like this is the case.
it's like 5:30 and I'm up because i need to drop my car off in brookline on the last possible day i can to get one of those mass state inspection stickers they make you get yearly. it's a huge pain in the ass but i will be passing many fastfood breakfast options and i clearly have nothing but kashi and cheerios here and i want to get fat like ron jeremy.
does anyone have any suggestions for something truly greasy and horrible but good?

I have to disagree with GiGi slightly, there is something worse than the Egg Mcmuffin. How is that possible you ask, throw away that english muffin and place the meat/cheese/egg food product between 2 pancakes amply sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. I give you the Mcgriddle.
