LOS ANGELES -- A driver crashed a car into a house in Van Nuys Monday morning, but no one was injured, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m. in the 5600 block of ******* Avenue, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Police said the 82-year-old woman was backing out of her driveway when she crashed through a fence and backed into the front of a neighbor's house on the other side of the street. The rear quarter of the car went over a brick wall and through a front window.
