For extra cash, I shoot girls for their website or portfolio. These girls are usually non-SAG actresses or they are starting a single-girl site of their own. Naturally, the single-girl site gals are flakier and more delusional, but I just shut up and shoot.

My flake rate is pretty slim, so it's a blessing if they're only 10 minutes late. Shooting at THEIR place lessens the flake rate and any instance of forgetting their left shoe. The bad side is dealing with boyfriends or roomates, but they get bored after 5 minutes and leave.

Sometimes, I'm not so lucky. I've had girls cancel on me within hours of their call time. I've had girls cancel as I was pulling into their driveway. The fact that I probably cancelled a job because I had them booked eludes them.

If I book a girl then someone calls me regarding a job offer, I don't want to call that girl and re-schedule because I am well-versed in the laws of booking 'models.'

Law #1: The amount of talking to the whore before the shoot about the shoot is proportionate to the chance they will flake.

Only call to confirm, the day before the shoot. For that extra confirmation day of shoot, call and ask to verify their address one more time. LIE! Tell them that it wasn't coming up on Mapquest and that you will be there shortly. Works like a charm (bracelet.)
