Hmmm, I blame the economy and for the economy I blame Bush(it's just fun to blame the guy for anything that goes wrong).

The soaring gasoline and energy prices are driving up the cost of just about everything while the women's pay is staying the same. The girls are having a hard time paying for their Gucci bag, expensive car, and recreational drug habits on just one job's income. Therefore, like many Americans who are struggling to make ends meet, they are having to pick up other odd jobs on the side.

I dunno though. That's just my uneducated guess.
