Been to Plato's Retreat once, didnt participate and been to the Vault many, many times, again didnt participate, just was a voyeur and they also put on shows, very interesting. Slave/Master shows, hot candle wax, rope tie ups, shit like that. Also went to Paddles just for the shows, (they didnt serve alchohol and you had to sign your name when you went in, HAHA, many Jane & John Does ) never once did I participate in anything, those places are very dirty, I skeeve them big time, but I get fascinated by the craziness of people, the floors are extremely sticky, and they hand out paper towels and condoms (I didnt see anyone using condoms, not once)!! When I was really young (about 14) my 3 male gay cousins took me to Ramrods once, I didnt understand anything but I saw alot of cans of crisco around there and like leather swing hammocks with men up to their shoulders in mens asses. I didnt enjoy it. (P.S. I had fake ID, always looked a bit older, you only had to be 18, and since I went in with 3 very gay men, they didnt question I was female).
