here's a question; when you talk about "windsock impersonators", do you mean people who try to literally steal the man's style and particular obsessions, wholesale, or just posters who are little more than a collection of idiosyncrasies and affectations, but who are not able make them gel into a compelling character like windsock? maybe i haven't been here long enough, but i've never seen anyone who falls into the first category.
