As of this week's trip to Blockbuster I would say my current worst movie viewed was Number 23. I was really looking forward to watching it but it didn't hold my interest in the least. I actually returned it and told them it was defective. Knowing there were no other copies in stock I exchanged it for Knocked Up.

I'm assuming we're talking about worst mainstream movies here, but I've got three indies from right here in my own backyard of Hamilton. There's a shoebox company here called CJ Productions who sold me two of the worst b horror flicks I've ever seen. I was happy because I love Cheepnis. Vampire Dentist is about a vampire who opens up an all night dental clinic to feed off his patients. He also does his landlord to avoid paying rent on his office. Sharp Teeth is the better of the two. In this one the steel mills have polluted the bay with radioactive waste. The carp mutate and begin to eat people. The absolute worst I've ever seen actually made it onto imdb. Cannibal Rollerbabes features slutty chicks on old school rollerskates who travel the wastelands of Peterborough in dune buggies looking for people to eat. A friend introduced me to Nicole, who played Bumper. We dated for a short while after it was shot and she brought a copy of it over. Horrible. Wish I still had it. It also stars psychic Playboy playmate and baby-abductor Lisa Heughan.

Ok, I just finished watching  Death Proof, What a steaming pile of poo that was. And since the spirit of this thread, as I interpret it is movies we hate ( not actually the worst movies ever made) , this flick fits in well here. I hope that that was the second movie in the Grindhouse as it played in theaters because it would have spoiled Planet Terror if it came first.

I draw a distinction between movies that are technically inept and lowbudget, but possess a certain folksy b-movie charm ( ie. the old AIP classics or anything by Corman )... and movies that are just insipid, spiritless crap.
I recently had to sit through Father of the Bride II , and it was excrutiating. When did Steve Martin turn from a comic genius into an uninspired hack?
Worst movies ever have to include every recent, uncalled-for, remake of a classic, every animal flick [ ie Beethoven, Airbud, etc ], and every movie with Martin Lawrence.
I'm pre-nominating "No Country For Old Men" for best movie of the year. The Coen Bros look like they've made another masterpiece.

horrible older movies shouldnt even be allowed to get nominated, any worst movie ever has to be running on premium cable or getting heavy rotation on fx

the lake house, HAVE never watched it, but i can only imagine,, also encore east is running Instinct starring cuba and hopkins, its very rare youll see a movie get less then 2 stars this one apparently accomplished it, tread lightly and lets see, im now gonna remote control to pick the next movie that is horrible this will now happen in real time, k see heres the problrm, i got bikini roundup running on cinemax hd, brick playing on hbo which is flat out spectacular, some inside the nfl which is great for fade material, i can't really complain, YET chain reaction with keanu is on encore right now, and i remember seeing that in like 6th grade so i have a soft spot, bottom line worst thing on tv right now is probably the paul walker movie and whatever rerun they have on the food network, thank me for this later you geezers.
