I just learned it today and played it for three hours. My fave songs to play are:
Miss Murder- AFI
Paranoid- Black Sabbath
Rock n Roll- Kiss
I tried playing One by Metallica, but it was too hard even on the easy level. This game is genius.

Did you see the new South Park last night? The episode was called "Guitar Queer-o", and it was all about the game. Eventually Stan reaches 1,000,000 points, and the game tells him something like, "Congratulations, your a fag!". You gotta check it out.

Ha! I don't have a tv, so I had no idea South Park was on, let alone it being the GH episode. I don't aspire to play an actual guitar, but I like how GH is an excercise in coordination and listening.

The graphics are amazing, but I like the character selections in GH1 and 2 better. Can someone put some damn clothes on the girls in 3?! That said, the curvy, dancing girl in GH3 looks like an awesome White Zombie animation drawing of Giana.

Okay seriously, I had a brief addiction to Call Of Duty (all 3) simply because I am a World War Two buff.
When I was young, when I wasnt buried in books, I was playing Skate Or Die, dreaming up a crippled wheelchair version whereby you wheel your way through society in a variety of challenging situations that only I could dream up. I think it would have sold had I not included in my concept pitch a scenario of a cripple trying to fuck a whore for the first time and trying to figure out the mechanics. There's being a Virgin, and then there is that....

I tried it out but my antique computer can't support the flash or something like that. I agree with Sergio. If I wanna play guitar, I'll play my guitar. Makes about as much sense to me as those kids who play track and field games on a floor pad instead of getting outside and actually making the physical effort of running.

Rockband is the RICH cousin of GH, King. Think about it, Rockband has you and your friends on guitar, bass, karoke vocals, and drums. That's a lot of equipment.
Best Buy invited me to their Rockband 'demo concert' a few nights ago. It was a trip seeing these guys all play together, looking and sounding like an actual band.
The tv screen is divided into sections per instrument so you can read and follow your part. You'd better have a huge plasma tv for Rockband or you could be a total pimp and have a different screen for each instrument like they did in the demo.

if i had any self respect at all i wouldnt tell you people that i started drinking scotch at 9 am (PACIFIC) went to the market at like 1 pm, when i came home neighbor kids were selling bootleg dvds, i said oh yea wanna make money>?? clean my house, i handed them 15 each my dishes, kitchen and laundry were done, i then lost nearly 400 on the usc game, won half of it back online, and then in the spirit of this thread passed out playing call of duty 4, WItH A HEADSET ON, i now have someone bringing me in n out

I was watching my young cousin play it last week...as soon as I recover I am getting it, fuck waiting until x-mas...one thing about winter in New England, it is the ideal time to have surgery because it is too fucking cold and dark to do anything except sit in your house and get fucked up and play shit...
In a sidebar, I hired a personal shopper to do most of my x-mas shopping this year, primarily for the kids. When I was in California, I would either buy stuff and have it delivered from the store, or simply send money. Not much fun....but now that Uncle Santa burglar is in town, I need to bring the goods myself....but I HATE going to malls this time of year, especially toy and kids stores, too fucking crowded and too many spoiled brats. Although it is a great way to meet milfs, but I am in no condition to fuck right now....
Online shopping has lost its appeal to me, except for occasional specialty items....
