Grand & Gravois



I know the neighborhood well from my childhood. My grandparents lived on McDonald, just off of Grand. When I stayed with them during the summers I can remember going with them to the now defunct Sears store near Grand and Gravois. I don't think I'd go back there now unless I was in a locked, moving car during daylight hours. Even Carondelet Park feels a bit unsafe after dark now. That part of town has changed, and not for the better.
