That depends on what is done to it after it is shot and how skilled the peson doing that is.
An experienced editor, I guess, with good source material and professional equipment can produce shiny video material that does not look completely artificial and like plastic.
Money has to be invested to achieve this, of course.
You do not have to like Digital Playground productions, where I consider the aforementioned realized; the differences to material from various Gonzo-only companies is quite apparent whatsoever.
