Tell me, Jack: When you do your weekly bitching about your job, do you direct it towards your boss? You know, the guy who pays you? Of course not. But wouldn't it be great if there were a way you and your co-workers could let the man know what's on your mind, without fear of reprisals?

'Nuff said.

Seriously?

You don't know me well enough to make such assumptions about me.

As a matter of fact, my boss has been told time after time, because my qualifications ALONE for what I do are greater than the remainder of my crew on some days. I've grown tired of the idiots I work with, and I've already begun the process of hiring elsewhere. Physical pending, I'm outta here.

My boss can't fire me, and won't fire me, because:

A) out of 13 men working, I'm one of 4 who knows what the hell they're doing in almost any situation (switch order) given.

B) he can't find better qualified help for the starting wage he's willing to pay.

C) I'm on time MOST days, I haven't called off sick, and I rarely miss a day.

So guess who tells who what? The real answer is that he can't afford to let me go until he replaces 50% of our current workforce with suitable workers who take the time to understand their job & better thamselves - rather than just be an ignorant flunky.

Got anymore assinine judgments you'd like to make?

PS - My boss doesn't pay me, our contract / customer does, indirectly. My boss just oversees that we get the work done, that's essentially it. He has 13 years on the job (to my 8), and still doesn't quit "get it".
