Most manufacturers provide several modes of zooming, the performers do not have to look like "little people" on a 16:9 TV or "bony people" on a 4:3 TV, if that is what you meant.
Furthermore, the aspect ratio is not "fucked up", rather limited and shot with this in mind.
Pornography is not Hollywood cinema shot in Cinemascope - 2.35:1 mostly -, where frame composition is critical as a visual narrative.
