I'm just curious how many people keep up with their high-school friends. I just recently contacted a bunch of them- seems like peeps had a website going on. It's so strange. One girl who was a dutch whore is now married and expecting. Most are family people. One girl that was super sharp is now bordering lunacy after a brain operation. And most of the chicks are hot. It's too strange- most of these people are now different people.

College friends I keep up with a few, but one of my high school friends contacted me and they have this whole social network thing going on. I traced friends back to as early as junior high. It's just too bizarre.

Anyone I ever went to high school with is on myspace so it's easy for me to check up on how/what they're doing. I was in HS only a few years ago and I'm still amazed at how much some of my classmates have changed. Every girl I remember as a sex-phobic virgin is knocked up with an unexpected baby, planning their shotgun wedding. The overachievers are graduating about now with these useless majors like philosophy and freaking out about not knowing what to do in life for the first time. Of course who am I to judge? I'm sure I turned out strangest of all.

I bonded very closely with people in college partially thru studying. I was lucky enough to choose whether/when to work as opposed to HAVE to work.

The close ones, yeah. All but one of them live in town, but me and another friend are taking a vacation to where he lives next month.
The rest, not at all really. Maybe see them in a store or something and say "How's it going", but other than that no real contact.

High school: hell no, except for my best friend's younger sister who I've been intermittently involved with for the past 20 years.
College: down to two as most have eventually moved away and I've grown increasingly hermit-like.

My best friend from high school is still one of my closest friends, she's now in medical school at USC. My high school boyfriend produces reality TV shows-- we still talk from time to time, and actually plan to have dinner sometime soon. He called me on set a few months ago to tell me that the dog I gave him back when we were 16 died. Needless to say I started crying and the model thought it was because she'd done a horrible scene. My stoner buddy just got married and I saw some other high school classmates at his wedding. My high school reunion was last year, but I was too drunk to make it, which almost might be a good thing, since my nemesis was there and I really don't want to see that bitch ever again.

Only two of my tight group of about 14 hs friends are worth keeping in touch with. The rest have deteriorated into a sickening cliche of stepford wife, yuppie, bmw/mercedes driving, happy family x-mas photo giving, look my wife is pregnant, my children attend private school, bunch of assholes. Hey, I'm happy for you and your family, but do I send out a self important attention whoring card for every bullshit notch on my bedpost or hey, my kid shit in his diaper today let's celebrate? as others have said, I'm still tight with a lot of my college friends. somehow, their level of self-douchebaggery is much lower than all my old hs friends.

None of my assfaced old hs friends are doing much better than I am it's just that unlike the majority of them I don't send out a myspace bulletin for every missed period of my girlfriend.

I talk to about 5 or 6 friends from school, on a fairly regular basis, but that's about it. Everyone kind of spread out after high school, and then you just don't see them nearly as much as time goes on. I gotta admit, that's one of the best things about MySpace is how easy it is to keep in touch.
