As another in a series of errors.
Here's a real life example ... I worked for an architect who designed restaurants. One of his clients was a partnership that included Iron Chef Morimoto after he left DeNiro's restaurant.
So, Morimoto looks to open his own US restaurant.
Oddly enough he solicits several investment partners.
Is this evidence that he doesn't have enough money to open the restaurant on his own?
Is this evidence that he doesn't have confidence in his own success?
Or is it evidence that he would like to use the risk of others capital in an attempt to make money without risking his own assets?
I have NO IDEA if Manning has ANY MONEY or if he really would have NO business without them.
But, generally your theory that having co-investors is evidence of a lack of resources does not hold.
Spielberg doesn't do his project completely on his own.
Neither does Trump.
Neither does Murdoch.
Neither does Warren Buffett.
