Disencouraging. Too many CGI showcases without much of a story, partially independent productions trying to compete on a much smaller budget and therefore most likely bound to fail. Almost no solid material just confident enough not to attempt to be a new type of film. The industry is more or less eating its own meaninglessness.
Examples from the other side are welcome, though.
