Funny, I always just assumed your main studios/offices were in the city, and that the photos at the ranch were just jaunts to "the country." My knowledge of LA is limited, but I pictured it to be the equivalent of driving up to Westchester here in NYC.

Really glad you're OK. How have others fared? What about Jeff and Sandy?



My studio is in LA, but my office is on my parents'. The reason is pretty much so that my dad only has to walk down the path to work, and my mom can ride her horses all day, letting one graze next to the front door while she goes in to order people around.

I also hope Jeff is OK! I don't know exactly where he lives, but thank goodness it's not San Diego, which has fared so much worse that the rest of us.



We have a place on Carbon Beach but we dont live there. On Sunday the fire burned right up the the buildings across the street (PCH) from our place, but that was it.
