I don't find it funny.
I don't find it funny at all.

The whole thing is beyond sad.

I enjoyed Sierra while she posted here.
She was funny and friendly.
She was very open.
She appeared comfortable in her own skin.
She appeared to be made to survive the difficulties of this industry.

Sierra's issues precede her participation in porn.
Sierra was reckless long before she did porn.
Sierra was doing gangbangs long before she did porn.
Sierra was abusing drugs long before she did porn.
Sierra was "swallowing things you really shouldn't be swallowing" long before she did porn.

Sierra is in pain.
She needs that pain abated.
She will NEVER heal until she takes responsibility for her choices.
She will NEVER find the source of her anguish.
She will NEVER end the pain.

The pain will haunt her forever. Forever.

I'm not a Sierra "fan". Like Gia & Gen, Sierra never appealed to me "porn-wise". But, as with those two, with the little I could gather of them on a porn board, I came to enjoy Sierra as a human. It saddens me greatly to see her veering toward oblivion.

I pray Sierra gets the help she needs and DESERVES.
I pray she finds peace within herself.
I pray for Sierra to choose the path to confront her pain.

I wouldn't say you're off the mark Fat, but I'd also point out that the same could be said of almost all of us... inside or outside of the adult biz. There aren't a whole lot of people in the world who are baggage free... and very few who have put their issues behind them by their mid 20's.
Sierra swallowed the things she shouldn't swallow -both chemical and organic- because they made her feel better. It gave her physical pleasure, and gave her a little relief from the anguish of daily stress, her own self-esteem issues, and the doubts she had about the choices she'd made in her life. Maybe she went to greater extremes than some, and maybe some went to greater extremes than her... but otherwise just the same shit as the rest of us. The only major difference is, her shit was captured on video for our entertainment. Well we all got our stroke on, and passed judgement in comfortable anonymity... maybe now we can move on to the next whore, and let the woman commence with living her life and growing up some more.

While I view the "Lubben's" of the world as evil profiteering liars, finding false cover within their "House of Lies" was a choice SIERRA made.

Yet another in an adulthood rife with bad choices.

My opinion of Lubben is unchanged. The woman's motives are honorable enough -helping girls find "life after porn"- but she's not helping them any by allowing them to duck personal responsibility. Porn was never the cause of problems a person didn't already have when they entered porn. Maybe the accompanying "lifestyle" introduced them to new temptations, but anyone with a degree of maturity and character [ traits that are admittedly rare in a 19 yr old ] can get what they want from the biz without being destroyed by it. If Lubben really wants to help these girls, she'll tell them to own up to their share of responsibility in the path their lives have taken. But that's unlikely till she starts doing it herself.
