IPCC wasn't peer-reviewed. It wasn't even edited by scientists: it was edited, and the final edit approved, by bureaucrats. Indeed not all of the source research is available - it's not eligible for peer-review by any reputable journal for that reason.
The main problem with climate science is that it struggles mightily to predict the past. There are no time scales where the models appear to do well in predicting the future, from long periods right down to the one-year period, where broad overall trend predictions appear to finally get better than a dart-toss.
