well.. i turned 10 in 91.... and by the mid 90's was 15.... and really wasnt keeping up with a movie about a damned whale. And my wife was even younger... her parents didn't like any form of media, and my parents thought the only things i should see are rock concerts and nothing rated below pg-13.
