Maybe he didn’t lie but just didn’t tell.
For example, I perform at every thing from kid’s birthday parties to bachelor parties and many corporate events. When asked for references I offer only what pertains to the job I am applying for. The other references are not in the same industry so I don’t purposely hide it but I don’t offer it either. Maybe he was doing the same. Only mentioning his tennis credits because it’s a tennis job. If he has enough references and credits to his tennis career than I don’t think he mislead anyone.
Likewise.
And Christian, if you EVER have the yearn to teach again, you'll do the same. I highly doubt you'll EVER get another teaching gig if you decide to post your adult credentials ~ which I'm sure you're well aware of.

Does AZ really let employers fore someone, without cause, with no severance? Crazy. The rules up north are a lot more labour friendly, but the tennis season is also shorter.
Grizz, many states in the US are like this, but obviously not those in the northeast US. I don't know about too many parts of the country, but Oklahomo, Kentucky, Kansas, & Idaho all ring bells as "right to work" states, IIRC. Of course, "right to work" meaning you have the right to work here, not the priviledge, in that sense.
