Hi,

I disclosed my previous work experience in the adult entertainment business with my boss prior to my being offered the job. He and I have known each other for years. He asked me about it at lunch months before I was hired. It was his opinion that it was irrelevent to my job at the tennis center. I was hired out of 150 applicants.

No, I did not specifically list any adult industry work on my resume. I did, however, list my web design company. The vast majority of the work I did in the adult business was web design. But we did lots of work, both adult and non-adult.

I love XXXPornTalk.com because it's truly a censorship free message board. I like that the moderators don't remove posts. Someone who doesn't know me, nor all the facts can come on here and call me a "clown". And that's his right to do so. However, name calling is just so... what's the word?

Do I really need to list names of other hot porn girls I've banged? Seriously people.

The message here is that there are plenty of people in the adult entertainment industry that have other professional skills, talents and emlpoyment experience. Their association with the adult entertainment industry should not preclude them from other employment, especially with the government.

It's good to have an open discussion about this. Fire away.

Important to note:

I was a low-level employee at the city tennis center. This was an administrative job. I was not employed as a tennis instructor at this particluar job. My tennis employment resume includes 12 yrs as a country club tennis director and tennis teaching pro.

It seems clear to me that middle city management fired me in a knee jerk reaction. Wanting to avoid negative press for the cities new 7 million dollar facility.

No hard feelings, it's just wrong. I'm already working on a new web site project that I am sure you will all enjoy.
