I like having any friends either male or female. With female friends sometimes you do think "that looks nice" eg if they bend over or something but I don't need to have sex with them. I don't think guys need to have sex any more than girls do I don't think guys will die or anything. If things did get awkward eg "Ceara I was wondering if we wanted to start going out together" and she said "Thanks Ben i'm flattered but i'm not interested in you like that" i'd want to still be friends afterwards. I wouldn't care if she started going out with other guys. No matter what happens i'd want to try and always be friends. Friends are awesome!!!
