The worst nightmare for a heterosexual male is to become a woman's friend, because it means that he will never get laid with you. As long as they have a normal testosterone count men think about sex every few seconds (it's a biological imperative, not a choice). Women on the other hand can meander through the day without feeling compelled to think about having sex with their male friend... Men suffer terrible physical and psychological pain when they can't get laid with their attractive female friends. That makes a friendship with an attractive woman more like martyrdom than anything else... unless, of course you find a gay male friend - then everything is great.

True friendship between a man and a woman should always culminate in an affair. Otherwise it's not a real friendship. It's just a woman exploiting a man.
