I figure I can count on honesty from all of you.

Is it possible for men and women to be friends? Just friends, nothing more. No friends with benefits, no exes that are now friends. Simply platonic friends.

I ask because I'd like to have male friends, but they always, always want to get into my pants, and then I feel bad, like I misled them somehow, and I have to cut them off completely. One of my former roommates said that he doesn't have a need for female friends, because women are for fucking, and men are for camaraderie.
