It's a true story. This is a girl I cared about, so I'd appreciate it if you just took it for what it is and not waste your time hurting my feelings by questioning the veracity of something personal I shared. - Things in life don't always go in a simple linear way. And yes, you can be intelligent and still fuck up your life. There are people with all the resources in the world who won't "get it together"... look around you, I bet you can find at least one person who fits that description, unless you're too cynical to even contemplate that possibility.
