Where's the evidence that he abused her at all? I've seen nothing to dispute his assertion that the charges were dropped. Maybe because it didn't happen? Wasn't it you who was saying that they wouldn't drop it just on Haley's request? There was no suggestion of Chico being violent to Haley prior to the July incident, and they were hardly seen since.

Point me to someone who actually saw her and said she'd been beaten black and blue, and I grant you it will look more likely.
