The actresses especially suffer in a different way as well. I think when this awakening happens to the actors and actresses in the industry, and they see the light of truth, see how they are just being used (or rather abused for money) and are not respected by the porn viewers and purveyors for being "someone special" outside of the sex world, but are exaulted only because of the sex world they live in, I think it's then that a depression and even sense of shame can sink in and cause intense inner pain and turmoil.

We need to remember these people in this industry when we pray. They need prayer not only because of the fact that they are being used in a degrading way, for the pleasure of people who are really deceived themselves, but also because these sex industry working people may realize what is happening to them and then be hit with a troubled heart, sadness and depression - wanting something to turn to (drugs, alcohol, more sex even . . .) but not knowing what - when we born-again Christians know it's simply the love of Jesus our Lord and Savior who can heal all troubled hearts.

They need prayer while in the business, but let's not forget them after they have seen the light, because it can be a terribly depressing thing to deal with once the truth is understood.



That type of depressing talk and despair is what turns on 90% of this board, eh?
