I prefer boxing to MMA--as long as you have pity on the heavyweight division, there's plenty of good boxing out there. But I take it from your avatar you like the sport too. Looking forward to Mayweather v. Hatton. Happy that Hatton's getting his shot at least.
Ahem...back to football. Don't you think that in college ball there are just too many blown coverages, D-line collapses leaving huge holes for backs, O-line collapses leaving safetied QB's, deep balls thrown into dime packages when the checkdown's the right play. I mean, I'm not saying every team should play like the Patriots (or the Spurs in basketball)--that'd be very dull--but the pros give the lovers of the game a bit more to chew on.
Still, it's cool to root for a team if it's your alma mater.
