I doubt highly if there's going to be any investigation of the agencies. DLSE doesnt have police powers anymore, that was stripped away from them years ago and furthermore, there's no money in California's budget to investigate suitcase pimps.

I met De'Bella's boyfriend at the film festival, nice enough guy but he's a former cop, has a law degree (never passed the bar) and claims to have friends in the FBI. Even boasting to me that he knows 2257 inside and out cause his buddies from the Bureau taught him everything.

I encouraged him if that was the case, to forget De'Bella's career and starting charging for 2257 seminars since it would be likely that he would be the only one in the industry that actually understood it.
