What exactly makes a Guitar God? Is it lead ability or is it rhythm guitar playing? Perhaps its song writing? Kurt Cobain sucked as a guitar player, but wrote good songs. On the other hand, Malsteem and Vai are technically sound, but write crap.
Are we basing our opinion on what we hear as fans thinking its great or as guitarists because we can play and understand theory and breakdown riffs, melodys and scales in their solos?
