It's always sickened me that Guiliani actually was praised for what he did to Times Square and the porn places. Disney Stores are an improvement over fine establishments like the Harmony Club? While I miss my favorite cheap porn store [BB King's I think is there now] and I wonder what happened to the "slurpee" Indians who once ran those places, I do enjoy my 2am walks from Times Sq to PABT more.

It's amazing to see the place brightly lit and crowded with people from bum-fuck Iowa at odd hours of the night. Even for a large angry type as myself, I used to be a bit anxious about the walk from 7th to 8th past old man Brandt's dead theatres and the odd assortment of street persons in dark and silence of the wee hours of the morning ... though, thankfully, nothing bad ever happened.
