It's said that MTV has a demographic of 12 to 34. I don't understand how it could appeal to anyone over the age of 18. It was brilliant idea that went horribly wrong. The alternative is vh1 which assumes that everyone over the age of 30 likes bullshit soft rock and feminine dudes whining all the time. There needs to be a video channel that resembles early seventies FM. Or take the satellite radio thing and try to make it work for videos. Fuck MTV.
