It's been a dying institution because it has incredible overhead and no one is using it. Email, cheap/free long distance. It's out-moded albatross and needs reevalution/innovation and possibly a future where everything is a FedEx or UPS delivery.

Don't like the US Mail for your small business? Use any of the numerous private services that exist.



The only interest the mail has been under Bush was when those idiots mailed anthrax. And, I don't think Bush mailed it.
