Is Gary Garver that guy on that radio show with the sand paper voice lady?
He was. They (Garver and Sam Philips, the gravel voice broad) had a weekend show called "The Single Life" on KLSX-FM. It is still on, with Sam Philips, but without Gary Garver. Gary also used to ask really stupid and embarrassing questions for Howard Stern of celebrities at premieres and other star laden events around town. I don't think Gary came up with the questions (Stern's writers did), he just had the balls (or stupidity) to ask them. He was sort of a West Coast Stuttering John (without the stutter).
Speaking of KLSX-FM, everyone's favorite drug abuser/industry parasite Wankus
claimed to me that he used to work there doing overnights about a million years ago.
