Luke had already converted to Judaism way before he met me, and I believe that conversion had to do with him trying to find a sense of belonging and religious discipline; it had nothing to do with women. I think he's attracted to shiksas because by dating one, he ultimately makes his life more difficult, and we all know Luke loves to be miserable.
