I was just watching 'Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes' the other night...it's nice how they avoided doing the 'man and ape live happily ever after as equals' ending and went with something a bit more sinister.



Yeah, but it totally works. Roddy McDowell is great as Cesar, as he is in the other films, but I particularly liked him in Conquest because of him being a revolutionary type of character.

He's in the TV series too, as Galen.
