I was 13 yrs old by Sept 1980, 8th grade whiz-cripple who sold the contraband skin mags I hid under the cushion of my wheelchair at lunch for 10-15 bucks a rag, and then I would have my super cool Aunt drive me and take two or three of the cutest girls in class to the mall on Saturdays and buy them carmelcorn and Scott Baio posters... (10-15 bucks in 1980 dollars, retail price back then was like 2.95 or something similar so do the math...of course if I was 18 I would have been locked up for, like, forever...)

HAHAHA!!

For my little bro and I it was 1970 when we sold the old musty-dusty Playboys stored in the garage from the mid-60s to older kids to get $$$ for baseball cards.

We took the cover and the centerfold. You got the rest of the mag for like $3 or many many old cards from years we didn't have.

I beat up my brother for trading a magazine WITH COVER for just 10 cards from the late 50's early 60s and two of the cards were a Koufax we already had!

In the set were two Mays, an early Frank Robinson, Brock [Cubbie] & Yaz [2nd baseman, btw] rookie cards .

I guess, in inventive hindsight, I hit him for taking a Hodges!
