was there possibly a more embarassing day by the big 10 ever,i dont even wanna brag after the fact but i fucking got money today, i took wisky and bought half point for -120, i had ucla -16.5, i had gtech +1, and my huge early game (this is seriously not a lie, i took uconn -4.5), i then later on had a parlay with purdue -6.5 and idaho +47.5, i took a second half pick em with gtech getting +.5, and my only loss was usc first half over 31.5, i honestly hit 5 of 6 bets, i dont know what to say, but yea i fucking nailed opening saturday and i wish i would be able to repeat though i doubt it seriously amazing day

My initial post was after a number of adult beverages, they looked really bad through beer glasses, but after I read the box score the next day and saw the ESPN highlights, if these guys win 4 games(Navy, Air Force, Duke and Stanford)this year they'll be lucky. Cal bears avenge last years loss to the Tennessee. Novemeber 11th against USC could be a great game with Title implications. For sure USC will be undefeated so if Cal can run it up to then who knows.

I can't wait to see the cal offense against the usc defense. Trying to get tickets but pretty tough going. Cal is fast as fuck.

Michigan’s Henne Out vs. Notre Dame

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Injured Michigan quarterback Chad Henne will not play against Notre Dame.

Wolverines coach Lloyd Carr did not provide a timetable for Henne's return, listing him Monday as week-to-week. The senior was knocked out of the second half of Saturday's 39-7 loss to Oregon.

Freshman Ryan Mallett will start against the Fighting Irish on Saturday at home in a matchup of storied teams with 0-2 records.

''This test will be different than any he's had,'' Carr said. ''But I can guarantee you that he's not intimidated.''
Carr declined to confirm Saturday's ABC-TV report that Michigan trainer Paul Schmidt said Henne had a lower-leg injury.

The senior struggled in his first 1 1/2 games as the Wolverines opened with two losses at home for the first time since 1959.

Henne was 12-of-23 for 172 yards with a touchdown and an interception, a pass that sailed into double coverage on the opening drive against Oregon. In the opener, he was 19-of-37 for 233 yards with a score and an interception in Appalachian State territory.

Henne connected with Adrian Arrington late in the first quarter against Oregon, giving Michigan a 7-3 lead and tying a school record. It was the senior quarterback's 72nd touchdown pass, tying John Navarre.

Mallett started the second half and threw an interception midway through the third quarter. He finished with six completions in 17 attempts for 49 yards.

The freshman from Texarkana, Texas enrolled at Michigan in January and participated in spring practice.

''That helps a lot,'' offensive tackle Jake Long said.

''It's kind of like he's a redshirt freshman.''

The Notre Dame-Michigan game has the potential to be every bit as breathtaking as the 49ers-Cardinals game was the other night.

I can't believe anyone thought the Nebraska/USC game was going to be prime time material. Nebraska didn't deserve to be anywhere near the ranking it had.

This is the perfect year to be a well known unemployed college football coach. There is at least an even money chance of all of the following jobs opening up at the end of the year--UCLA, Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Auburn. A couple more games like last night and you can throw Arkansas in there too, plus there is always the possibility of the Grim Reaper drafting Joe Paterno or Bobby Bowden to coach his fantasy team.

In my opinion the only one of those that is untouchable is Weiss. Everyone expected a rebuilding season.Maybe not as bad as it is but it was still kind of expected. He has a contract that runs through 2015. But a no win season could change that too. I doubt they won't win a game though.
