Hello
My name is Frank and I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Communications. I've decided to base my doctoral thesis on the inner workings of the adult entertainment industry.
I was wondering if you knowledgeable folks would mind if I asked a few questions to gain some insight about the industry, what it is that you all do, and how you go about doing it.
Would any of you be willing to share your knowledge?

Hard to dispute. Except the last bit about ADT. Insiders may well post there, but they almost never post any worthwhile (i.e., scandalous) insider information. Which is what people 'round these parts want to know about, but don't. They mainly know about emoticons.

In the meantime, can I ask how you all got into the business?
I mean was it all just for the money or sex? Or were there other reasons?

This is true. Neither Jeff, Gia, Malice, Deep Throat, VoDGuy, Holly, me and a shit load of other posters have a clue about the adult industry. SpongeBub is right. Please go to ADT and ask them to assist you.

Stevie Why - great question. Actually I am exploring persuasive/communicative affectations toward female respondants - ie. many women are "talked" into the adult entertainment field. I am exploring the various communication methodologies employed to accomplish the desired result.
