The universally accepted shortform for pounds (as in the unit of weight, not the unit of sterling currency) is .lbs, not the hash symbol.
Or were you trying to type '25% body fat' and got that wrong too?

In any event, I said official not most widely spoken. But, according to my old school pal who's lived in Punta Gorda for the last 20 years, everybody speaks English in some form down there.
