I started thinking after I seen Lubb Lubb's attack on Derek Hay on Luke's site the other day. It got me thinking.

If Shelley Lubben really cared about converting people in the industry, she would reach out to him just like she would to the girls. In fact she would reach out to the big-shots in porn; the producers, directors, and studio owners just the same as she would to the girls in porn.

If you believe theBible, sin is sin. All sins are equal. The guys who are exploiting the girls are just as guilty as the girls who are having sex for money. They are the same in God's eyes and are both lost souls in need of help.

Why does she only seem interested in the girls though? I think there are two main reasons for this.

1. The girls are easier to convince to leave. Sierra didn't look to be getting much work when she was taken under Shelley's wing(especially after her Lesbian Bukkake episode), and from what I read about Jersey Jaxin she was having problems of her own. The big shots on the other hand usually have it pretty easy compared to the girls and make more money. Less emotional and physical problems, much harder to convince them to leave.

2. The girls have plenty of sob stories to tell to elicit sympathy, tug at the heartstrings, and have people open their pocketbooks to send in the donations. The big-shots on the other hand, no matter how you spin their stories, will always look like assholes to Shelley and her supporters.

If Shelley devoted time and effort to save someone like Max Hardcore, a lot of her supporters would probably step back and wonder what in the hell she was doing. The guy is the scum of the earth, the kind of person they want to see rot in hell(which is real Christian-like, right?). No, she wouldn't waste any of her time with a guy like that, because it would make her look bad. Someone who really believed in the Christian Bible, though, would see that he is just like those he uses, in need of Jesus.

Just like the preachers who reach out to the murders and child rapists in jail, Shelley should try to reach out to anyone involved in the adult industry. If she were a true Christian, she would believe they were all in need of help, the whores and those who use them. No, Shelley Lubben isn't doing this for the girls. She's doing this for herself.
