I know Cleetus has his DVD release thread, and usually it has some great titles. I'd like to supplement that with a few of the movies that don't quite make the big screens. Some of them are just hilarious...some are nauseating...make you own judgement:
First off is the instant exploitation classic
Ebola Syndrome from Asian director Herman Lau. If you want a movie that is utterly crass and devoid of niceties...you've hit the target.
Summary: Kai is a substandard Hong Kong factory worker who one day axemurders his boss and wife in a bloody scene. On the lam, he flees to Africa. While working there in Chinese restaurant, he notices a local woman, who, he brutally rapes. Payback is a bitch for Kai, though, his victim is stricken with the deadly
Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever. Luckily, Kai is merely a carrier of this ultra-infectious disease, and he soon learns to put it to good use. Raping and torturing his way back to Hong Kong, his "carrier" status allows him to inflict pain and ignominy on many of his Chinese victime, until the local police force finally tune to the situation and respond.
