My zenman account just shows about 70 accounts deleted, and almost all my adds are porn stars or people related to the industry. Anybody else notice this?

Myspace just did a cleanup of accounts that the have been deleted, either by the user or myspace themselves. When the account is deleted, you can't see it anymore, but it is still counted in your friend count. They ran a cleanup to rid all the deleted accounts out of everybody's friend lists. I seen my count go down by three(two people I knew personally that deleted their own accounts quite a while back, the other one I notice was gone was MIA XPTer Eddie Normous).

I'd say a lot of people in your list had deleted the accounts themselves long ago(probably cause they left the industry). A few may have been Sierra Sinn-type deletions(nudity, or other offenses), but I don't think Tom and crew went on a crusade to delete every myspace profile that belonged to some one involved in the porn industry.

Did any of that make any sense?

It makes sense, but they must have a poorly designed database if the profile still appears on your friend's list even though it no longer exists.

250+—all dead profiles—have been subtracted from the FOX page. I'd say most were porn talent who couldn't resist posting tons of naked pics.

My tally is now minus 500+ friends. Last week we were at approx. 5,060. That's a lot of dead profiles.
