As someone who has been lurking on this board and the mm board for a couple years on an almost daily basis, I feel that I am pretty knowledgeable about both boards. Furthermore, as someone who has been on torrent, ptp, etc. for about 7 yrs I feel that I have a great grasp of the community. I would like to say your analysis of the mm board is a bit off. Mostly because a large percentage of the posters there are not that knowledgeable about filesharing snf go about it incredibly slowly and inefficiently in addition to rehashing the same topics frequently. St best, they rely on about 5-10 people on the board to post scenes occasionally and the majority of which are dated and are past their profit making shelf life.

I can tell you as someone who dls porn freely that a greater percentage of revenue is lost on torrent sites each day than through that board for all genres, not just interracial. MM members tend to post dated scenes after the entire movie has been out in the torrent community for days to months. They are not the initial distributor of the pirated material, merely a tertiary and beyond pirate and inefficient ones at that. As someone who prefers recent interacial releases, I know better than to bother with that board. Mainly, I go there for the rare interesting topic or baffle at the tired refrain out out by them.

I do agree that it is silly for people to both complain of the lack of interest of performers to do that kind of scene and simultaneously limit the main reason that producers would make and distribute the film by stealing it in a sense. However, the accusation that the mm board is costing interracial porn makers millions is an exagerration. On the contrary, I would contend that a larger percentage of income was lost due to torrent sites that post day of the release and affects all genres than to that board. Moreover, I think that the actual amount lost to that board is minimal because of the long delay before anything is posted and the technological ignorance of much of the community.

That's just my two cents as a user of all of the current social networking technologies.
