From what I understand, the director didn't even watch the remake, simply content that someone in the industry parodied his movie; a sign of making it big back in the day. If he watched it, Kurt would have another detractor to contend with.

I also think it's telling that Kurt claims to have a green light on the project but has taken the time to line up three other companies for the project; an outlandishness lie he should have caught himself. Even if the project is eventually given the go ahead, the budget stated is a fantasy or will result in very little of it going on the screen as it is said. Kurt couldn't find three companies willing to let him direct, let alone get a Wicked Pictures sized budget and he knows it, but for all his bravado it's amusing watching him crash and burn so readily before us. Where else but on XPT would such a reject as Kurt/Steve be willing to post hundreds of times in such a poor manner, indicative of his kamikaze style that disregards facts, disregards how poorly he is doing, and embraces the idea that he can't "lose" if he posts more than anyone else?
